Dr. Kener, DMD
Dr. Kener is an Idaho native hailing from Pocatello, Idaho, and is the product of several generations of potato farmers. He graduated from BYU-Idaho with a degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry where he met and married his sweetheart, Julia. He graduated with his doctoral degree in Dental Medicine from Case Western University.
After spending hours of his time off from school shoveling several feet of snow in Ohio, Dr. Kener decided he was ready for a warmer climate. It took little convincing from his wife Julia, who is from Tucson, and one visit for him to fall in love with the area. Together, they have four wonderful children Evelyn (10), Jace (8), Aurelia (5), and Sam (3).
When not at work, he enjoys running, hiking with his family, and accompanying a congregational choir in Oro Valley on the piano and organ. Dr. Kener brings 7 years of CEREC experience and is excited to meet all of the wonderful patients of Rancho Vistoso Dental.
